The abrasive belt machine is mainly installed on the lathe for the grinding and polishing of roll shafts. There are many kinds of belt sanders on the market. How to choose a suitable belt sander?
1. Vibration problem: some belt sanders are attached to the belt. After starting the machine, the machine vibrates very much. What is the reason for the machine running around if it is not fixed? The main reason is that the balance of the rotating wheel is poor! Rotating wheels include rubber wheel, guide wheel and motor belt pulley. One of the three rotating wheels has poor accuracy and balance, and the machine jitters badly! Another reason is that the fitting clearance of the supporting wheel parts is too large, resulting in relative motion between the parts and vibration. Another problem is that the motor is not well fixed, which also causes vibration.
2. Noise problem: the noise is mainly caused by insufficient rigidity of the base and supporting parts, excessive clearance of mating parts, selection of low-quality bearings, and excessive speed of abrasive cloth belt.
3. Life problem: some belt sanders broke down after a short time of use. There are several reasons: the adjustment part is made of gray cast iron, but 45 # carbon steel is not used for precision casting, or there is no heat treatment, poor bearing quality, poor lubrication, no modulation heat treatment for the main shaft, or the hardness of the treatment is too low or too high (too low, easy to wear, too high, easy to break), and the motor quality is poor.
4. Problems in use: The size and structure design of the machine are very important. Good structure and scientific size are the key to the efficiency of the polishing workers. Due to the continuous development of technologies such as abrasive belt machine, the role of abrasive belt machine polishing in the metal processing industry has become irreplaceable. With advanced abrasive belt polishing equipment, metal processing tasks such as surface polishing, circular polishing, finishing, polishing and grinding, radius polishing, chamfering and deburring can be successfully completed. The modular design can improve the flexibility of the equipment and reduce the cost.
